2.-3. The largest and the most beautiful of Prague Churches, the Cathedral of St. Vitus which, with its spires forms the silhouette of the Prague Castle. Its eastern part was built in the Gothic style by Mathias of Arras and Peter Parler in the 14th and 15th century.

4. The construction of the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, started in 1378 by Charles IV., was interrupted by the Hussite uprising, and never finished.

5. The bridge tower of the Charles Bridge is the work of Peter Parler dating from the end of the 14th century.

6. The Prague Powder Tower, built in the seventies of the 15th century was built by Vaclav and Matej Rejsek. In the 18th century gun-powder was stored in this tower - hence its name.
